Little Llangothlin Nature Reserve turns 40 in 2019!

Don’t miss our ‘Birthday with the birds’ on World Wetlands Day in February. Celebrate with us at this gorgeous wetlands area near Glen Innes.

Keen bird watchers will love this celebration, but it’s a fun day out for everyone and all ages. Join us at this precious upland wetland area to discover the creatures that call the wetlands home. NSW National Park rangers will be there to give tips to aspiring bird-watchers. Let’s see if we can increase the already impressive species list here, while entertaining the kids. Make sure you bring a picnic to enjoy in this special place.

The day will include:

  • 9.30am: Welcome to Country
  • 9.45am to 11.30am Walk the Lagoon Circuit walking track with NSW National Parks rangers. They’ll share helpful tips on how to use your binoculars. The kids can take part in a ‘Find that clue’ activity.
